Merry Christmas from the Casa

the tree of 2007

dixie’s new xmas collar
Our decorations look almost exactly as they did last year with the exception of the tree which is a Noble Fir this year. If you’d like a refresher, look here.
Also, Dixie got a new Christmas collar for those days when her xmas sweater is just too warm.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Dixie. From the photo, it looks like you are on the couch. Lucky dog.

it must be difficult to get things done with an enormous dog pinning you down..

great photos. dixie looks great in her new collar. i know you love easy little projects, so i thought i should tell you what the kennel did when i my 2 boys had a quick stay there early in december. they covered their collars with a sleeve of christmas fabric. no silly little bandana that they could pull each other around with, yet still festive. and easy to make! i loved them so much that i think i might try to make them collar covers for most holidays. (wishful thinking, i know) anyhow, just sew a tube of fabric and slip it over dixie’s normal collar. no need to buy new collars all the time!
happy, happy new year to you and your family! (furry members included)
